Product Description

Archduke Charles (1771-1847), field marshal, army reformer and military theoretician, was one of the few generals capable of beating Napoleon’s armies. His modernisation of the Austrian Army was an important factor contributing to the eventual defeats of Napoleon. All this he achieved as a relatively young man.
