Product Description

The contents are 104 poems mostly by known authors and 33 prose pieces also mostly copied plus loosely inserted a number of poems written by various persons and mostly unpublished. Her father, Frances, was a Minister and Historian whilst Helena was also the niece of Frances Ridley Havergal, hymn writer and poet. This is a very good example of the learning of a teenaged Victorian lady.
