A Satire on Journalist with the illustration showing an ugly man with a pronounced nose lips, and chin set in a country scene where he is reading from a paper. In the background is a barrel of licquer with the spile open and liquid gushing forth, whilst above the barrel is a flying horse with wings. The title of the print is a quotation from Alexander Pope’s Dunciad. This is the clue that this may be an attack on Pope. An early owner has identified the subject by writing in ink that this is ñMr Bryan of Buryî.
