Product Description

A Satire on the dismissal of General and M.P. Henry Seymour Conway (1721-1795) for voting against the Government over the question of John Wilkes’s privileges. His dismissal caused a furore at the time. Exceedingly rare. The only copy we can trace is part of the Nicholas K Robinson Collection at the Royal Irish Academy where it is erroneously dated as 1800. Not in British Library Collection.
