A Satire on Pitt’s winning the General Election of May 1784. The illustration shows Pitt in the Royal Throne room with a group of Pittites all held by a leash facing the throne on which is perched the King with his bottom pointing at the crowd. Pitt is saying “Approach & Salute the Broad Bottom of Royalty”, whilst above the Pittites is “Majority of ye New P…….t we are your devoted Slaves” B.M. No. 6603
