A Satire on Sir Robert Walpole’s reluctance to engage in War with Spain. The illustration shows Walpole influenced by the Devil whilst patting the British Lion on the shoulder, whilst a Spaniard is cutting off its talons. In the foreground a young lady is exposing her bosom . BM. No 2347 variant issue printed without the imprint which in the British Museum copies is within the plate line at the bottom of the sheet.
