Product Description

A Satirical Poem addressed to an American Friend that the author had supposedly met on island in the Gulph of Mexico. The Friend was with his wife and four children , they having forsaken their native America to seek asylum but had been shipwrecked on this island. However they had found perfect peace and harmony. The moral being that “happiness resides oftener in simplicity than spendour”. A rare item.
