Folio, beautifully written in a clerical Copper Plate hand, 13pp., (approx. 2500 words), with integral blank leaf and final blank page, docketed “Letter from the Navy Board in 1716”, has been folded, remains of stitching, all edges gilt.

The official retained copy of a letter written in response to a report of Debates held by the Lords of the Admiralty on the question of wear and tear to Naval ships, together with a list of the Estimates. The letter includes Estimates. The original letter was signed by “Wager, Acworth, Sergison, Burton, Lyddell, Swanton, and Fawler”.
